Professional Football Coach Degree

  • Football Coach
  • Length: 2 years, 24 months exactly.
  • 1st Year-minimum age: 25 years old, or being 25 within 12 months from the first day of class.
  • 2nd Year-minimum age: 26 years old, or being 26 within 12 months from the first day of class.
  • Requirements to be sent electronically (scanned) during the registration period:

  • Admission Test: The aim is that the candidate will know how ATFA Virtual Campus works. Format: Multiple Choice: Passing Grade: 6.

Youth Football Instructor

  • Length: 1 year, 12 months exactly. Equivalent to the first year of the Football Coach Degree.
  • For all interested candidates from 18 to 24 years of age.
  • Requirements to be sent electronically (scanned) during the registration period:
  • Certificate of Study: High School transcript or higher.
  • Identification: 1st and 2nd page, or Passport’s 1st and 2nd page.
  • Medical Authorization: stating that the candidate is able to do physical activity.

  • Important: once the student is 25 years old, he/she will be required to do the second year

Specifications

  • Online part: courses are given online and the Program last 24 months.
  • If the student does not pass the minimum requirements of the course, he will be able to continue with classes, having later a second and a third chance: Make up exam/Retake the class.
  • The student may suspend the program, only if he/she had finished the ongoing course, and later he/she may be able to restart the program but on a subsequent session.    
  • On site part: to obtain the Football Coach Degree, the student will have to pass both, the online and the on site parts (on site has two components, theory and practice). 
  • ATFA Virtual Campus is formed by its Faculty, the Academic Secretariat, Administrative Staff and Technical Department.
  • In ATFA’s Virtual Campus, classes are equivalent to those in regular on site institutions, starting its courses every month so that students may start their classes on time. 
  • The program is given by courses in a specific order stated by ATFA Virtual Campus, which may be modified according to ATFA’s Virtual Campus criteria and choice.  
  • At the same time, each course and its written materials will be published in a Class format.
  • Each course has a specific limited time-span.
  • The course publication will be done on a sequential mode.
  • The sum of all modules, will determine the end of the course and the beginning of the new one, repeating the cycle until the end of the year.
  • Before starting the Football Coach Degree, the student will receive detailed information that clearly states how the different modules work at ATFA Virtual Campus.
  • Supporting elements:

Multimedia Platform: Students will have unrestricted access to a free section where Faculty for the technical courses will exhibit different animated exercises.
Practical classes (optional for students living in Argentina): Although, all ATFA Virtual Campus students may attend to the practical classes that are offered at the School’s Main Campus.

Evaluations and Grades

ATFA Virtual Campus will use the following methods to evaluate students:

  • Online connection: we suggest a daily connection, so as to be familiar with any news or changes.
  • Messaging: the student will express his/her doubts regarding the study materials so that the Professor will be able to respond to him/her within 48/72 hours. Messaging intents to establish a private dialogue between the Student and the Professor.
  • Forum: active participation in this space where the Professor will post topics related to the course and other relevant information.  
  • Chat: not available
  • Multiple choice: evaluation method for exams and finals that the Professor will use according to his/her criteria. At the end of the established time, the system will publish the grade automatically, making clear that 6 is the passing grade.
  • Individual and group assignments: assignments are due within the professor’s established time period.
  • Written evaluations and other: they determine the end of a stage, or of the whole course. They may include questions, research assignments, and exercises, just to name a few examples.
  • The final grade of each course is the average grade from the multiple choices and the practical work.
  • Make up: students that don’t meet the objectives at the end of the course will have a make up chance. Annual Make up calendar: April/July/September and November.
  • Retaking the course: If a student fails the course, he/she will have to retake it. In this case, he/she will have to repay all fees (including all monthly fees) according to the course length.
  •  On site Final Exam given in Buenos Aires-Argentina: two parts, theory and practice referred to the material published by the Academic Secretariat. It also includes a second practical part which will include assignments that the student will have to develop on the football field. Annual calendar for the final on site exams: May/August/October and December.

 To form part of ATFA Virtual Campus the student will need to complete the following steps:

2-Registration for the Admission Test “Fútbol Mundial//World Football”

  • Click on I want to register for this course: Admission Test “Fútbol Mundial//World Football”.

  • At this point, Administrative staff will contact the student
  • In parallel, the student will have to cancel the Matriculation

3) To enrol in Biology and successive courses:

  • Click on “Pre-inscription” / “Sign in”: Biology – then Subject 2; and so on.
  • Confirm.

Fees of the Course

            1st Year Fees for People Residing in America-Asia-Africa-Oceania

  • 1 fee of US$ 500.-, US dollars payable on enrolment. 
  • 11 monthly payments of US$ 500.-, US dollars payable between the 1st and 10th of every month.

            2nd Year Fees for People Residing in America-Asia-Africa-Oceania

  • 1 fee of US$ 500.-, US dollars payable on enrolment. 
  • 11 monthly payments of US$ 500.-, US dollars payable between the 1st and 10th of every month.

            1st Year Fees for People Residing in Europe

  • 1 fee of € 300.-, Euros payable on enrolment.
  • 11 monthly payments of € 300.-, Euros payable between the 1st and 10th of every month.

            2nd Year Fees for People Residing in Europe

  • 1 fee of € 300.-, Euros payable on enrolment.
  • 11 monthly payments of € 300.-, Euros payable between the 1st and 10th of every month.

Payment dates

There are three different possibilities to pay the fees within the month:

  • 1st to 10th – no overcharges.
  • 11th to 20th – 5% overcharge.
  • 21st to 31st – 5% overcharge over previous one.

Unless the student expresses his intention to pay, the Administrative Secretariat may deny him/her access to the classroom as from the first day of the next month. The student can re-enter the original classroom or another one after payment of the following additional charges:
