Argentina Soccer Camp at Asphalt Green
ATFA partners with the Long Island Rough Riders and Asphalt Green
Have your players trained utilizing Argentina’s “world-cup” winning programs by coaches from the National Association of Football Coaches of Argentina (ATFA).
ATFA coaches have educated and produced some of the world’s greatest players from the Argentine youth system such as Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Carlos Tevez (Manchester City), Juan Riquelme (Boca Juniors), Gonzalo Higuain (Real Madrid) and Javier Mascherano (Liverpool).
Experienced coaches from the National Association of Football (Soccer) Coaches of Argentina (ATFA) will be working with the Rough Riders this summer and offering camps and courses in the New York area.

Rough Riders
Course Description
The ATFA International Special Topics Diploma was created as a combined effort between the Long Island Rough Riders and ATFA to offer coaches an introductory course to enhance and advance their training with the principles of the Argentine methodology. Participants in this 4-day course will have the opportunity to learn from an ATFA and FIFA certified coach who is a former player from top Argentine and International clubs. The course will include: Physical Education; Techniques and Coaching I & II; Pedagogy and Didactics (teaching methodology for Youth Players); Tactics and Strategy I & II; Physical Training and interaction with professional coaching staff in classroom, field and informal networking settings.
This course is a standalone course. It is an introductory course to the ATFA Professional Soccer Coaches "A" License. ATFA is the only school that awards the degree of Professional Football Coach in Argentina which is acknowledged by the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA) as well as the Fédéracion Internacionale de Football Association (FIFA).
Presenters
The course will be presented by Juan Cruz Real. Mr. Real is a former player at Club Atletico Independiente (Arg.), Millonarios (Col.), Deportivo Español (Arg.) and Aresnal (Arg.). Current Head Coach and Technical Director at Clarkson Sheridan SC (Canada), Technical Director at Toronto Croatia Soccer Club, and ATFA International Development Program Director. Mr. Real will be assisted by Fabian Banchiero, CEO of Banchiero Sports Enterprises and US representative of ATFA, and senior staff from the Long Island Rough Riders.
